Business Development Representative
Gallaher Fleet Solutions is a veteran-owned and operated diesel truck and trailer repair shop specializing in fleet services. With locations in Statesville and Bessemer City, North Carolina, we pride ourselves on providing dealership-level service at affordable prices, building relationships based on integrity and quality workmanship. We are seeking a driven and personable Business Development Representative to join our team. This person will be responsible for new business development for both locations and our mobile service, working out of the Statesville office.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales and Prospecting:
- Identify and secure new fleet customers through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking.
- Target a variety of customers, including long-haul trucking companies, local delivery and regional fleets, owner-operators, logistics and distribution centers, and municipalities.
- Meet daily/weekly activity goals, such as visiting 5-10 potential clients per day and making 20+ outbound calls per day.
- Develop a "Top 10" list of leads per location to focus on.
- Utilize and maintain a CRM system, such as Salesforce, to track performance and follow up on prospects.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing fleet customers.
- Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients and addressing any ongoing needs or challenges.
- Conduct quarterly check-ins with fleet managers.
- Collaborate with service managers and the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent service.
- Product and Market Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance services, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and mobile repair.
- Be knowledgeable about the local market and the unique challenges faced by fleet operators in the Statesville and Gaston County areas.
- Communicate the value proposition of Gallaher Fleet Solutions—dealership-quality service, on-site repairs, and best-in-class customer service—to potential clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of bringing in new business.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal), negotiation skills, and the ability to set proper customer expectations.
- Ability to generate leads independently, leveraging Google searches, referrals, and industry events.
- A self-motivated individual with initiative and a willingness to assume ownership of responsibilities.
- A "hungry" and driven attitude, with the ability to maintain consistent effort for consistent results.
- Must be personable, building genuine relationships with customers and the team.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
